Christian Ministry

The Life Connection Mission School and its church, the New Life in Christ Church, are run as nondenominational entities. We strive to please Christ in all we do. No matter your religious affiliation, you are welcome to worship with us. The great commission, found in Matthew 28: 16-20 tells us to spread the good news of Christ to all nations. This, of course, includes our beloved Haiti. We see many Americans come through the mission and they bring Christ’s love with them, but most of them leave feeling much richer in Christ from our Haitian friends.

In 2011, it was an answer to much prayer when the Lord brought Pastor Moleus to Life Connection Mission. Mark 11:24 says, “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." We prayed and God delivered our Pastor. That same year, donors supported our plea for an expansion to the church and volunteers worked alongside skilled Haitian masons to complete the construction and therefore welcoming more to join in weekly celebrations and praise.

Our mission may have many functions, but our main goal is to share the power of Christ’s love in a place where it is desperately needed. Pastor Moleus has done just this. He can be found working with mission teams as they climb into the mountains to offer the poorest of the poor bags of rice and beans. He is found walking throughout the community pausing to pray with the sick. Pastor Moleus meets members of his community outside the Life Connection Mission clinic and offers peace to those who are fearful and healing prayers to those who have undergone surgeries. Pastor Moleus is one of Jesus' greatest disciples as he lives his life caring for and tending to his flock. The people of Montrouis deeply respect this Godly man and his passion for the community and Life Connection Mission. It only takes one visit to Montrouis to feel God’s presence working here.

Long-term goals include:

  • Raising funds to provide the church’s musicians with new instruments, speakers, and microphones so that they can help others find the Lord’s presence in their hearts.
  • Beginning evangelism projects and adult literacy education.
  • Maintaining the church sponsored lunch program that follows the Sunday services and expanding to occur every week.
  • More mission teams visiting, evangelizing, joining the congregation for prayer, and helping to maintain the physical structure of New Life in Christ Church.

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.”
