Can you imagine a world without widespread healthcare?  A world without clinics and hospitals in every town? A world without medicine?  A world without prenatal care, pediatric medicine, or assistance for the elderly?  A world with nowhere to go and nobody to turn to when faced with illness or injury?  It might seem like a world of long ago or very far away, but it’s actually much closer than you think.  Children and adults die daily from fully preventable or treatable disease like malaria, cholera, and tuberculosis.
